September 2020

I'm writing this sitting in my summer house which has been a 'go to' place for me throughout this year. It's a place where I can be on my own, think, pray and listen.

So..... the summer came and now appears to be over- as is the respite we had from Covid19 restrictions.

We've been blessed in so many ways over the summer months...Good weather and a prebooked holiday that we could take as restrictions were lifted a few days before we were due to leave,  are just two of them

I also had the opportunity to welcome people to our home to enjoy the garden and see my artwork during the Hampshire Open Studios week.

It's also been lovely having the grandchildren back in the garden over the summer and fun to watch them playing on our Lockdown garden project 'ship'.

Once more, I'm very aware that others' stories have been very different to mine this summer and to a limited extent I've shared in the pain of some of those who've suffered physically and mentally over the last few months.

We need to remember that many people will look fine on the outside but are falling apart in the inside. It's so important to be kind.
